Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 24, 2026

Welcome to Moeli Reader (the “App”). These Terms constitute an agreement between you and the Moeli Development Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the App and related services across all supported platforms. Please read and understand these Terms and the Privacy Policy before using the App. Available features and entitlements are subject to the version you use and the information provided at the time of purchase.

1. Services and License to Use

The App provides ebook reading, library management, and related features, with support for local files, remote storage connections, data synchronization, and third-party services. You must use the App lawfully and have the necessary rights or permissions to access the relevant content and services.

We grant you a limited license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unless authorized, you may not copy, sell, or distribute the App, or bypass full version unlocking or other access restrictions, except as otherwise permitted by law or applicable open-source licenses.

2. Full Version Unlock, Payment, and Refund Policy

Certain features require the full version to be unlocked. The full version is a one-time purchase. It does not automatically renew, and there is no subscription to cancel. Pricing, included features, supported platforms, device limits, and upgrade conditions are as displayed at the time of purchase. License verification and purchase restoration may require an internet connection, and necessary information will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Cancellation Policy: Before completing payment, you may exit the payment process or cancel an unpaid order. Once payment is complete, the transaction cannot be canceled, except as otherwise provided by applicable law or the rules of the platform or payment provider through which you made the purchase.

Refund Policy: All sales of the full version are final and non-refundable, except as otherwise provided by applicable law or the rules of the platform or payment provider through which you made the purchase. Discontinuing use of or uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel the transaction or trigger a refund. This policy does not limit your statutory rights.

3. User Content and Third-Party Services

Rights to content you import, access through remote storage connections, synchronize, or generate remain with you or the respective rights holders. You are responsible for the sources of your content and for your uploading and sharing activities. You must not infringe the rights of others, access accounts or servers without authorization, or interfere with service operation. Intellectual property rights in the App and third-party components belong to their respective rights holders.

Features such as remote storage connections, synchronization, online translation, and voice services depend on your configuration and the relevant services. When using third-party services, you must also comply with their terms, privacy policies, and pricing rules. Changes to their interfaces, quotas, account status, or services may affect feature availability.

4. Data Management and Security

Synchronization, transfer, and file management operations may upload, merge, overwrite, or delete data. Please verify the files and data affected by each operation, keep independent backups, and safeguard your accounts, credentials, and keys. Once automatic tasks are enabled, the App may perform related operations at startup, when resuming, or in the background.

Privacy Mode restricts access within the App; it does not encrypt all files and data. Clearing data, uninstalling, or reinstalling the App may affect local content and license recognition. These actions also do not automatically delete cloud copies, revoke third-party authorizations, or free up device slots associated with your license.

5. Service Limitations and Liability

File compatibility, device environments, network conditions, and third-party services may affect your experience or cause service interruptions or data loss. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the App, but we do not guarantee compatibility with every file, device, or service, or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Each party bears responsibility as required by applicable law. These Terms do not exclude any liability that cannot legally be excluded or diminish your statutory rights.

You may stop using the App at any time. In the event of a serious breach of these Terms, an attack, or abuse, we may restrict or terminate the relevant services in accordance with the law and provide notice as legally required.

6. Minors, Updates to These Terms, and Disputes

Minors should use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian and obtain any legally required consent before making purchases or submitting personal information.

These Terms take effect upon release of the App version that includes them. We may update these Terms as features and services change and make the updated text available within the App. For changes that materially affect your rights or require renewed consent by law, we will follow the applicable notice and consent procedures.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. If a dispute arises, the parties will first attempt to resolve it through consultation. If no resolution is reached, either party may seek relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
